Με εντυπωσιακή επιστροφή μετά την περυσινή του «κοιλιά», το HBO επανέρχεται δυναμικά στα φετινά βραβεία Emmy, κατακτώντας τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες της χρονιάς χάρη σε τίτλους όπως τα The Penguin, Hacks, White Lotus, The Pitt και The Last of Us.
Εκείνοι που ξεχώρισαν
Ωστόσο, την παράσταση κλέβει το «Severance», το οποίο συγκεντρώνει 27 υποψηφιότητες, ξεπερνώντας ακόμα και τις 24 του πολυαναμενόμενου «The Penguin». Η δεύτερη σεζόν της πολυσυζητημένης σειράς του Apple TV+ φαίνεται να την καθιερώνει ως το απόλυτο τηλεοπτικό αίνιγμα της περιόδου και ένα από τα ισχυρότερα φαβορί για την κορυφαία διάκριση.
Ιδιαίτερα αξιοσημείωτη είναι και η παρουσία πρωτοεμφανιζόμενων σειρών, που κατόρθωσαν να διακριθούν όχι μόνο στην κατηγορία μίνι σειράς, αλλά και στις βασικές δραματικές και κωμικές ενότητες. Τίτλοι όπως The Studio, Nobody Wants This, The Pitt, Paradise, Adolescence, Dying for Sex και φυσικά το The Penguin, απέσπασαν πολλές και σημαντικές υποψηφιότητες.
Στην κατηγορία της κωμωδίας, το «The Studio» ξεχωρίζει με 23 υποψηφιότητες, σε μια χρονιά όπου το «The Bear» εμφανίζεται με αισθητά πιο αδύναμη τρίτη σεζόν, ενώ το «Hacks» δεν έχει το προηγούμενο hype.
Ανάμεσα στα highlights των φετινών υποψηφιοτήτων, ξεχωρίζει η διπλή αναγνώριση της Άιο Αντεμπίρι (The Bear), η οποία είναι υποψήφια τόσο για Α’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο, όσο και για Σκηνοθεσία, για το επεισόδιο «Napkins». Αντίστοιχα, το «The Rehearsal» του Νέιθαν Φίλντερ αποσπά δύο υποψηφιότητες – σεναρίου και σκηνοθεσίας – παρά την απουσία του από τις μεγάλες κατηγορίες.
Τέλος, ξεχωρίζει η απρόσμενη υποψηφιότητα του Μάρτιν Σκορσέζε στην κατηγορία Καλύτερης Guest Ερμηνείας, για τη σύντομη εμφάνισή του στο πρώτο επεισόδιο του «The Studio».
