Η 25χρονη Κέιτι Ρούρκ βρήκε τραγικό τέλος από τα χέρια του ανθρώπου με τον οποίο συγκατοικούσε.
Ο 27χρονος Γκάρι Στίβενσον ομολόγησε πως έσφαξε την συγκάτοικό του επειδή αρνήθηκε να κάνει σεξ μαζί του τον περασμένο Δεκέμβριο.
Στο Ανώτατο Δικαστήριο της Γλασκόβης έγινε γνωστό πως οι δυο τους είχαν βρεθεί σεξουαλικά , πριν συμβεί το μοιραίο γεγονός, αλλά η 25χρονη αρνήθηκε να ξανακάνει σεξ μαζί του.
Ο 27χρονος ομολόγησε το έγκλημά του αφού ταξίδεψε στο North Berwick, East Lothian, και στη συνέχεια αποπειράθηκε να βάλει τέλος στη ζωή του.

Katy Rourke’s body was discovered at 5pm on Wednesday sparking a major police inquiry. Miss Rourke was originally from Broughty Ferry, Dundee, but had been living in Glasgow with her older sister Jen, while working for cruise ship firm P&O Australia. Her devastated parents, Philip, 55, and Dawn, 54, were being comforted at their detached house in Dundee but were too distressed to talk about their daughter’s death. It was not known whether Miss Rourke’s two sisters, Gill, 23, and 28-year-old Jen, had returned home to be with the couple after the horrific news broke. Miss Rourke, a popular university graduate, was found at the property in Minto Street in the Govan area of Glasgow at about 5pm on Wednesday. Police later arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with her death and he is currently in custody awaiting a court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff court
